PERFORMANCE REPORT ON TIAANO’S CHEMICAL FREE ELECTROLYTIC SCALE REMOVER, BY M/S. AAVIN TAMILNADU, MADHAVARAM, CHENNAI. Project: Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers’ Federation (TCMPF) was formed in February’1981, to manage the activities such as milk procurement, storage, processing and marketing of the milk and milk products. They believes that our Country’s socio-economic development in connect with the development of rural India. The TCMPF Limited is an apex body of 17 District Cooperative Milk Producers' Unions. It is headquartered located at Aavin Illam, Madhavaram, Chennai and has four dairy plants in Chennai. Application:  Depending on the atmospheric temperature, Milk enters the receival vat between 80° F. and 98° F., and ideally it should be cooled immediately to about 40° F. to reduce the activity of the bacteria. Most of the plants do not have refrigeration system and cooling is done by passing the milk over a washboard type of cooler through which cold water is flowing. Natural water supplies are usually not cold enough without some form of cooling and are often in short supply. In such cases water cooling towers should be installed to get an efficient way of lowering the temperature of milk and improving the quality. Due to the recirculation of water in the process, the mineral (Conductive Salts) which is found in the water causes more problems (Scaling) in their cooling water circuits. In order to resolve this problem, M/s. TCMPF are using Tiaano’s Chemical Free Electrolytic Scale Remover (ElSr) with the Model of Tiaano ElSr-CT / 300.
