Both can form in cooling water system. This scale formation can normally be avoided by limiting calcium, magnesium and silica concentrations through chemical treatment or blow down.

Excess mineralization causing scale/fouling will consistently be removed, significantly reducing the need for planned shutdowns and likely eliminating the unplanned shutdowns due to fouling. Silica is precipitated in our reactor.
